Bob Marshall Field

Bob Marshall Field is the home of DGF Post 397 American Legion Baseball, Babe Ruth Baseball and the Rebel High School Baseball team. Bob Marshall Field is located in Dilworth and has been the location for American Legion Baseball since the mid 1970s.

"The Bob's" signature field characteristic is the short 280' right field wall. The overall short outfield fence is a definite hitters advantage when playing in Dilworth. It's not uncommon to see a hard line-drive single off the rightfield fence. It's equally uncommon to see a triple in this hitter's ball park.

Bob Marshall Field recieved new 30' x 7' block dugouts in the fall of 2007.

The DGF School District and community have been active in the past few years in improving Bob Marshall Field. The Field has an excellent aluminum bleacher area behind home plate with a new Press Box. New dugouts were built in the fall of 2007 with a partial warning track started this spring behind home plate. Bob Marshall Field is a fan friendly facility from the standpoint of being able to choose bleacher seating behind home plate and next to the 3B dugout, standing along the right side fence line or sitting in lawn chairs. The Field has replaced old chain-linked fencing and has built a large paved parking lot.
